RPMC Lasers, the leading laser distributor in North America, announced an exclusive distribution agreement with SemiNex Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of high-power semiconductor infrared laser diodes and optical amplifiers. This agreement allows RPMC to offer Seminex's line of packaged indium phosphide (InP) laser diode modules from 1250nm to 1940nm.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with RPMC to distribute our leading-edge high-power packaged IR laser diode products throughout North America. Their strong technical and market knowledge, along with their complementary product portfolio will ensure our customers receive best-in-class service and support for all their laser needs” said Sinclair Vass, VP Worldwide sales for SemiNex Corporation.

We are excited to combine forces to significantly expand our IR laser diode offerings with this new partnership,” President of RPMC Lasers, Dean Micke, added. “SemiNex’s team has been great to work with. Their team is providing differentiated, best-in-class, high-power IR laser diodes to the photonics industry. With their high-power InP laser diodes and our existing wide range of laser diode packaging and customization capabilities, we are able to offer our customers a greatly expanded portfolio.”

Initially, RPMC will offer their SMX series of 1470nm, 1550nm, and 1940nm packaged laser diodes, providing the highest available single-emitter output power at IR wavelengths for medical, military-aerospace, LiDAR, telecommunications, and other industrial applications.

Through this new partnership, both companies will be better suited to provide added value to the market with expanded capabilities and reach, trusted advice, and high-quality support throughout the entire product development process.
