A Laser, also known as Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, is a device that produces a coherent and monochromatic beam of light by using optical amplification. It generates an intense, focused beam of electromagnetic radiation by utilizing a lasing medium, which can be a solid, liquid, gas, or semiconductor. This medium is contained within a resonant cavity to facilitate the amplification of light. In 2024, several products were launched that made a significant impact on the market.
