The RAA462113FYL#AC2 from Renesas is an 8 Megapixel Back Side illuminated CMOS Image Sensor that has a resolution of 3872 x 2192 (UHD). It has a 1/1.9" optical format that delivers a frame rate of up to 60 fps with single exposure & up to 30 fps with double exposure (line by line). This image sensor has a Bayer pattern primary color filter array and a 32 x 32 pixels optical block. It has a 12-bit ADC and a gain amplifier with a gain of up to 30 dB. This image sensor has two read modes: UHD (Ultra High Definition) and UHD-HDR (High Dynamic Range) with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) functions.
The RAA462113FYL#AC2 has selectable output formats MIPI-CSI2 or 12-bit SLVS in 8/4 lanes that deliver a data rate of up to 891 Mbps (445.5 per lane). This image sensor can be controlled via 4-wire (SCE, SCK, SDI, SDO) and I2C serial interfaces. It requires a DC supply of 1.2, 1.8, or 2.8 V and consumes less than 0.9 W of power. This image sensor is available in a 144-pin CLGA package that measures 15 x 13.3 mm and is ideal for network camera image processors and surveillance camera applications.
