The V940-12GWA-1TGA from Inneos is a Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser Diode that operates at a wavelength of 940 nm. It delivers an optical output power of 2.5 mW with a slope efficiency of 0.3 - 0.6 mW/mA. This single-channel, top-emitting VCSEL has a data rate of 12 Gbps at a bandwidth of less than 9.0 GHz. It has a spectral width of 1 nm and a beam divergence half-angle of 15 degrees.

The V940-12GWA-1TGA can be integrated into transceivers or sensors and has been designed and tested to maintain high performance in harsh environment applications. This laser diode has a threshold current of 0.75 mA and a reverse voltage of up to 8 V. It requires a DC supply of 2.2 V and consumes 6 mA of current.
