The DBR780PN from Thorlabs is a single frequency Laser Diode that delivers an output power of 45mW while operating at a wavelength of 781nm. This Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) laser includes an integrated optical isolator, thermoelectric cooler (TEC), thermistor, and monitor photodiode. It is available in a 14-pin butterfly package with PM780-HP polarization-maintaining optical fiber and an FC/APC connector, which is aligned to the slow axis of the fiber. The laser diode is well-suited as a low-noise pump source for a rubidium atomic clock, second harmonic generation, two-photon absorption, and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy.
