The Terra PIV 527-60-M from Amplitude Laser is a Diode Pumped Nd:YLF Laser that operates at a wavelength of 527 nm. It delivers an average output power of 60 W (at 3 kHz) and has a pulse energy of 40 mJ (at 0.1 - 1 kHz). This laser has a pulse width below 250 ns and pulse-to-pulse energy stability of 0.5% rms. It has a pulse repetition rate of 0.1 kHz - 10 kHz and jitter time of less than 3 ns RMS. This circularly polarized laser produces a beam of diameter 3 mm and has a beam divergence of 8 mrad. It has a beam quality factor of up to 25 and pointing stability below 25 mrad.
The Terra PIV 527-60-M laser uses intracavity frequency doubling and has both external & internal triggering. It has two independent oscillators that can be independently triggered via transistor-transistor logic (TTL) inputs. This laser has built-in optics for beam combination and features flexible time delay & energy adjustment. It can be controlled using MS Windows-based laser commander software via an RS-232 interface. This laser requires an AC supply voltage of 200-240 V (laser) & 230 ±10% V (chiller) and consumes 10 A (optical head) & 12 A (chiller) of current. It is available in both air and water-cooled options.
The Terra PIV 527-60-M laser is available in a compact & robust package that measures 812 (L) x 254 (W) x 145 (H) mm (optical head), 509 (L) x 483 (W) x 221(H) mm (power supply) and 699 (L) x 483 (W) x 492 (H) mm (chiller). It is ideal for scientific applications such as Ti:Sapphire pumping, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), combustion analysis, Laser Induced Fluorescence, LiDAR, resonance Raman spectroscopy, chemical analysis of macromolecules & laser microprobe analysis, and industrial applications like stent/glass/PCB/fine metal cutting, LCD/solar edge deletion, marking, wafer trimming, micro-hole drilling, ceramics scribing, fine wire stripping & diamond/gemstone processing.
