The HighLight DL1000HPS from Coherent Corp. is a Fiber Coupled Diode Laser that operate at wavelengths of 980 nm or 1020 nm. It delivers an output power of 1000 W and has a wavelength tolerance of ± 10 nm. This laser has a pulse frequency range of 600 Hz (analog) & 1000 Hz (laser on-signal) and power range of 10% - 100%. It has a beam quality factor of less than 100 mm x mrad and power stability of ± 2 nm (over 24 hours). This conduction-cooled diode laser uses a fiber with a diameter of 1000 µm and numerical aperture of 0.22. It can be controlled via QBH, QD, or Ethernet interfaces and has a bus-interface option. This laser requires an AC supply voltage of 230/400 V or 277/480 V, consumes up to 11 A of current, and dissipates 7.6 kW of power. It is available in a module that measures 670 (L) mm x 1050 (W) mm x 1760 (H) mm and is ideal for welding, heat treatment, cladding, and brazing applications.
