The HighLight DL2000HQ from Coherent Corp. is a Continuous Wave Diode Laser that operates at a wavelength of 980 nm. It delivers an output power of 2000 watts and has a power range of 10 % - 100 %. This laser has a pulse frequency range of 600 Hz - 1 kHz and beam quality factor of 44 mm x mrad. It uses a fiber with a diameter of 400, 600, or 800 µm and numerical aperture of 0.11 or 0.22. This conduction-cooled diode laser can be controlled via QBH, LLK-HP, QD or Ethernet interfaces and has a bus-interface option. It requires an AC supply voltage of 230/400 V or 277/480 V and consumes up to 10 A of current. This laser is available in a module that measures 990 (L) mm x 750 (W) mm x 640 (H) mm and is ideal for keyhole welding, surface treatment, cladding, 3D additive manufacturing, and brazing applications.
