EPL Series

The EPL Series from Edinburgh Instruments are picosecond pulsed diode lasers operating from 369 to 983 nm. These lasers have 10 pre-set repetition frequencies from 20 KHz to 20 MHz. The EPL lasers are pre-adjusted for an optimum pulse width and provides an output power of up to 0.25 mW. The output has a pulse width of less than 100 ps. They are fitted with integrated bandpass filters to spectrally purify the output. They are cost effective excitation sources for fluorescence lifetime measurements and are optimized for Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC).
