The CA-1220 from eLas educational Lasers is an Nd:YAG Diode Laser that operates at a wavelength of 808 nm. It delivers an output power of 100 mW and produces an elliptical beam. This laser has an LDS 1200 laser diode controller and can be pumped by a laser diode. It is a custom educational laser mounted on the flat rail and includes components like laser light collimator, a pair of laser beam shape optics, PIN-photo detector & digital voltmeter.
The CA-1220 has a 2D rotational mount to measure the spatial distribution of laser beam and polarizing filter to analyze the linear polarization of the laser light & its dependency on the injection current. It is ideal for educational purposes such as investigating types of laser diodes, beam profile, fast & slow axis, spectral properties, laser threshold, slope efficiency, beam shaping, and polarization state.
