The NG-FDML from OptoRes is a Swept Laser that is available in three variants with 1060 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm center wavelengths. It delivers up to 200 mW of power. The laser has a sweep rate of up to 3 MHz that enables (multi-) megahertz optical coherence tomography (MHz-OCT). This laser features a long coherence length, which is less than 3 dB signal drop up to a full usable image range (1.5 GHz fringe frequency).

The NG-FDML laser is based on all-fiber Fourier-domain mode-locking (FDML) technology and has a user-adjustable sweep range and output power, plus a variety of programmable synchronization and control signals. It is available in a module measuring 40.3 x 24.7 x 14.7 cm with SMA and BNC connectors. The laser source is suitable for research applications, including OCT, bio-imaging, spectroscopy, optical sensing, optical testing, and interferometry applications.
