The DMX150-532 from Photonics Industries is a Pulsed Solid-State Laser that operates at a wavelength of 532 nm. It delivers an output power of 150 W with a pulse energy of 15 mJ and a pulse width of 200 ns at 10 kHz. This multi-mode laser has a pulse repetition rate from 1 to 50 kHz and pulse-to-pulse stability of less than 1.0% RMS. It produces a beam diameter of 5.0 mm, a beam pointing stability of less than 25 μrad, and a beam divergence of less than 10 mrad. This ultrafast laser has a beam quality factor (M2) of 15 - 20 and a polarization ratio of 100:1 (horizontal). It uses a 3 m long fiber and can be controlled via RS 232/External TTL Triggering/ GUI Software Interfaces.
The DMX150-532 with a single head offers a dual pulse feature and has proprietary driving electronics to control pulse separation and delay. In addition, it can be configured in a dual head option for sub μs pulse separations and even higher output powers. It requires an AC voltage of 200 - 240 V and consumes 2.1 kW of power. It is available in a rackmount package with a Laser Head that measures 12 x 26 x 4.6 Inches and is ideal for particle image velocimetry (PIV), annealing or “bleaching” (changing of material properties without material removal), pumping Ti:Sa ultrafast amplifier systems, high power/high pulse energy drilling or cutting of hard materials applications.
