The ALCOR Series from Spark Lasers is an Ultra-Compact Femtosecond Laser that operates at 920 nm and 1064 nm. This linearly polarized laser provides an average output power of 2 W with a pulse repetition rate of 80 MHz and has a pulse duration of 100 fps. It requires an AC supply from 100-240 V and supports USB, RS 232, and TCP/IP interfaces with remote control for fast intervention. The laser is available in a 3U rackmount unit that measures 252 x 151 x 91 cubic mm and is ideal for two-photon imaging of green fluorophores (GFP), calcium indicators such as GCaMP, red-shifted indicators such as RCaMP, dtTomato, and MCherry for two-photon excitation microscopy applications.
