The IceFyre UV50 from MKS | Spectra-Physics is a UV Picosecond Laser that operates at a wavelength of 355 nm. It delivers an output power of greater than 50 W and has a maximum pulse energy above 40 μJ (at 1250 kHz). This laser has a beam-pointing stability of up to ± 25 μrad/°C and power stability of 1% (after warm-up). It has a pulse-to-pulse energy stability of 2%, pulse repetition rate from single shot to 10 MHz, and pulse width of 10 fps. This pulsed laser produces a beam of diameter 5 ± 0.5 mm and has a beam asymmetry up to 1.1.
The IceFyre UV50 has a beam divergence of less than 0.2 mrad and boresight tolerance of ± 0.5 mm & ± 5 mrad. It has an internal power monitor and an optional safety shutter & output AOM. This horizontally & vertically polarised laser has TEM00 spatial mode with beam quality factor (M2) below 1.3 and polarization extinction ratio above 100:1. It can be controlled via an optional TimeShift ps GUI interface and is EU RoHS 2, China RoHS 2, & CE compliant. This laser is built using Timeshift ps programmable burst-mode technology to enable pulse-on-demand (POD) and position-synchronized output (PSO) triggering.
The IceFyre UV50 requires an AC supply voltage of 200 V and consumes up to 2000 W of power. It is available in a compact module that measures 1070.4 (L) mm x 50.48 (W) mm x 19.308 (H) mm and is ideal for OLED processing, 5G flexible printed circuits (FPC & MPI) cutting/drilling, ITO drilling/scribing, Semiconductor scribing and dicing, PCB processing, Ceramic cutting, drilling & scribing, Solar cell scribing and drilling, LED scribing, dicing and patterning, metal cutting, drilling and marking applications.
