The TOPO from TOPTICA is a Tunable Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) Laser that has a tuning range of 1.45 μm - 2.07 μm (signal) and 2.19 μm - 4.00 μm (idler). It delivers an output power of 2 W (signal) & 1 W (idler) and has a linewidth of 2 MHz (idler) & up to 100 kHz (signal). This continuous wave laser has a mode hop-free tuning range of up to 1 GHz (signal) & 300 GHz (idler) and beam quality factor (M2) below 1.2 (3.6 µm). It can be controlled via DLC pro touchscreen, PC software, Ethernet, USB, and analog remote control interfaces.
The TOPO consumes less than 250 W of power and is available in a module that measures 55 (H) mm x 130 (W) mm x 165 (D) mm (laser head), 150 (H) mm x 240 (W) mm x 465 (D) mm (OPO head), 133 (H) mm x 482 (W) mm x 438 (D) mm (fiber amplifier) & 154 (H) mm x 450 (W) mm x 348 (D) mm (control unit). This singly resonant laser is ideal for MIR spectroscopy, cavity ringdown, detector characterization, microcavities, and atom & ion trapping applications.
