The Luminar 4030 from Brimrose Corporation is a Free Space NIR spectrometer that operates at spectral ranges of 850 nm - 1700 nm, 900 nm - 1800 nm and 1100 nm - 2300 nm (standard). It has a spectral resolution of 2 nm - 10 nm, wavelength accuracy of ± 0.5 nm, and wavelength repeatability of ± 0.01 nm. This acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) spectrometer has a sampling speed of 16,000 wavelength/sec and an ambient light rejection above 106. It comes in three mounting options: tri-clamp mount, standard or custom-built mounting plates, and lab stand with a rotating sample cup. This spectrometer has a gravity switch/proximity sensor and features real-time dual beam referencing.
The Luminar 4030 has 10 built-in monitoring sensors and can be controlled via wireless, OPC UA, Modbus (serial or TCP), I/O with 4 mA - 20 mA, and TCP/IP ethernet interfaces. This spectrometer requires a DC supply voltage of 12 V - 24 V and consumes 90 W of power. It is available in a benchtop module that measures 300 (W) mm x 256 (H) mm x 145 (D) mm and is ideal for food & agricultural - analyzes from field to factory, analyzes from feedstock to fuel in biodiesel, measure ash, moisture, and protein content in flour, measure fatty acid content in soybeans, blending uniformity, fluidized bed drying and tablet coating inspection applications.
