The EPP2000HR NIR2 from Edinburgh Instruments is a Fiber-Optic Spectrometer that operates at a wavelength of 900 nm - 1075 nm. It has a 2048-pixel CCD detector that provides a detector range of 200 nm - 1200 nm. This NIR spectrometer has a pixel size of 14 µm x 200 µm and a diffraction grating of 1200 gr/mm (holographic & ruled) with a grating range of 175 nm. It has a dynamic range of 2000:1 with 6 decades and an f-number of 4. This SymX-Czerny-Turner spectrometer is available in different slit size options such as 7 µm (0.09 nm resolution), 14 µm (0.17 nm resolution), and 25 µm (0.26 nm resolution). It has integrated & high-pass order sorting filters with a 14-bit or 16-bit digitizer.
The EPP2000HR NIR2 has a signal-to-noise ratio of 1000:1 (CCD) and can be controlled via USB-2 or EPP parallel interfaces. It has a detector integration time of 1 ms - 65 s and stray light of up to 0.1% (at 435 nm) & up to 0.05% (at 600 nm). This spectrometer uses the SpectraWiz program & apps and can be operated using Win9x/WinXP/Vista/Win7 operating systems. It also supports LabView, Excel+VBA, and Delphi software. This spectrometer requires a DC supply voltage of 5 V and consumes 100 mA of current. It is available in a benchtop package that measures 44 mm x 94 mm x 150 mm and is ideal for wavelength monitoring and characterization for tunable lasers/LEDs & other sources such as elemental emissions from plasma, and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy applications.
