The TSQ Quantis MD Series from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a Triple Quadrupole (QqQ) Mass Spectrometer that has a mass range from 5 to 3000 m/z. It uses Thermo Scientific™ TraceFinder™ LDT Software, which provides a workflow-oriented approach to high-throughput quantitation. This spectrometer uses enhanced Thermo Scientific™ Active Ion Management (AIM+) technology for the confident quantitation for routine analyses of human specimens with an optional bi-directional Laboratory Information System (LIS) connection.
The TSQ Quantis MD Series has QR5 segmented hyperbolic-surface quadrupoles that deliver best-in-class sensitivity, consistently, and reproducibly and ultra-fast selected-reaction monitoring enables robust quantitation of more compounds faster. This spectrometer integrates mass spectrometry (MS) with liquid chromatography (LC) systems. It has automated compound optimization and an intuitive instrument interface that increases productivity. This spectrometer is available in a benchtop package that weighs 125 kg and is ideal to identify and quantify inorganic and organic compounds in human specimens.
