The IMX991-AABJ-C from Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation is a 0.34 Megapixel SWIR Sensor that has a spectral range of 400 nm - 1700 nm. It has a global shutter in a 1/4" optical format that delivers a frame rate of 258 fps (for 8-bit ADC), 240 fps (for 10-bit ADC), and 137 fps (for 12-bit ADC). This SWIR image sensor has a quantum efficiency above 75 % (at 1200 nm) and sensitivity of 121 mV.

The IMX991-AABJ-C has an all-pixel readout drive mode with an effective resolution of 656 (H) x 520 (V) pixels. It has a unit cell size of 5 µm x 5 µm and diagonal image size of 4.1 mm. This SWIR sensor has a saturation signal of 360 mV, pixel voltage of 1.2 V - 2.2 V, and operability of greater than 99.5 %. It has an input drive frequency of 37.125 MHz / 74.25 MHz / 54MHz and uses 2 ch / 4 ch SLVS interfaces for the output.

The IMX991-AABJ-C requires an analog supply voltage of 2.2 V - 3.3 V and a digital supply voltage of 1.2 V. It has an inbuilt thermoelectric cooling element with an interface voltage of 1.8 V. This SWIR sensor is available in a surface mount package that measures 30 mm (H) × 30 mm (V) and is ideal for visualizing water, sorting materials, transmission observation & temperature observation applications.
