The IceFyre FS UV50 from MKS Spectra-Physics is a UV Femtosecond Laser that operates at a wavelength of 343 nm. It has a wavelength accuracy of ±2 nm and delivers an output power of greater than 50 W (at 1 MHz & 1.25 MHz). This ultrashort laser has a maximum pulse energy of 50 µJ (1 MHz) and repetition rate range from single shot to 3 MHz. It has a pulse width (FWHM) of less than 500 fs and pulse-to-pulse stability below 2% rms.
The IceFyre FS UV50 has a TEM00 spatial mode and beam pointing stability of ± 25 μrad/oC. It produces a beam of diameter 5.0 mm ± 0.5 mm and has a beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.3. This vertically polarised laser has a polarization ratio of over 100:1 and full angle beam divergence of up to 0.20 mrad. It is based on Spectra-Physics' It's in the BoxTM design and has TimeShift programmable pulse capability for flexible burst-mode operation.
The IceFyre FS UV50 has pulse-on-demand (POD) and position-synchronized output (PSO) triggering. It has an internal power monitor and is available in a module that measures 906 mm (L) x 433 mm (W) x 175 mm (H). This fully automated laser is ideal for glass processing, OLED, AR/VR & micro LED display processing, Solar/PV scribing & drilling, 5G PCB cutting & drilling, medical device processing, wafer scribing & dicing, ceramics processing, fine metal processing, and polymer cutting applications
